Soundguard Acoustics Ltd was incorporated as an acoustic consultancy in 2008. The company, based in the South West (but covering the UK) specialises in many fields of acoustics, including Approved Doc E sound testing, building & architectural acoustics, sound proofing design, environmental noise monitoring & control, Ship noise levels (Worldwide), industrial CONAWR noise at work risk assessment & expert witness cases.

Are you qualified?

All acoustic consultants are qualified to MSc level in acoustics and are full Members of the Institiute of Acoustics (IoA). The company holds Full Member status with the Association of Noise Consultants (ANC) as well as being an accredited test body for Building Control Approved Document E sound insulation testing.

Who do you work with?

Soundguard Acoustics Ltd work with a range of professionals throughout the UK including architects, developers, contractors, design teams, Local Authority, Environmental Health Officers, residents, industrial health & safety advisors & commercial managers across a range of organisations that includes aerospace, marine, healthcare, education, industry, leisure, events, development, Ministry of Defence, the NHS & other government organisations.

Where will you travel?

Soundguard Acoustics Ltd will cover all parts of the UK (Worldwide for Ship Noise). However, our local client base is mainly in Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Avon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Hampshire & the counties of Monmouthshire, Glamorgan & Carmarthenshire in South Wales.
