The first compartment of a multi-compartment septic tank, or alternatively the two firstcompartments, are therefore used as a pre-sedimentation chamber from which the pre-clarifiedwastewater flows by gravity into the biologicalmembrane plant.The last compartment is operated as an aeration tankand houses the MembraneClearBox® installation kit anda blower for the oxygen supply.
