The VH-15 vibrator head is specially treated to work with the most abrasive type of concrete. It is considered incorrodible and obtains an extraordinary durability. Besides this, the vibrator has been specially designed to keep on working even if the head was perforated. In case the head is finally worn out, the VH-15 vibrator offers the possibility of changing only the head and not the entire cylinder line. Its structure allows the head to be separated, with no need of disassembling the whole vibrator. The bearing, which supports a great part of the work, is specially chosen for a long durability even under the hardest conditions. Minimum spare parts are recommended for hypothetical repairs, as only 3 main pieces are liable to get damaged out of thirty that make up the vibrator. The task of repair can be easily achieved with the dismantling and re-assembly tools specially designed for this purpose and also with the quick-release couplings that vibrators are equipped with. Hydraulic internal vibrator VH-15 Minimum specifications that the machines must fulfil to install VH-15 Vibrators The installation of one VH-15 vibrators set in the chosen machine requires a specific study for each case, depending on the needs. The following comments refer to the vibrators installation in retroexcavators (1 & 3), where a variable flow pump is available. This pump simplifies the hydraulic circuit to be installed, as the same pump is capable of operating the vibrators as well, with no extra pump needed to be incorporated in the installation. For other machines such as bulldozers (2), it is necessary to incorporate an extra and independent circuit with its pump, tank, radiator... as these machines are generally equipped with rotary pumps. Thus, any machine on which a group of VH-15 vibrators are to be set up, must fulfil at least the following requirements: • Power 7.5 kW / vibrator • Hydraulic circuit flow: 16 l / min / vibrator • Pressure for Vibrator Circuit: 180 kg / cm2 • Cooling enough for: 3,5 kW / vibrator • Maximum pressure at discharge line: 3 bar • Variable flow pump. • Free distribution arm. Apart from the indicated power for the vibrators operation, the machine must offer the necessary power for moving the arm and the rocker. In case the pressure of the pump in this machine is higher a reducing valve will be installed. If the retroexcavator pump pressure is higher than the requested for the VH-15 vibrators right working, a reducing valve is installed, for the pressure not to exceed the 180 kg/cm2. The cooling is also an important point when choosing the right machine. Under the worst conditions, half of requested power for each vibrator is lost in the heat generation. It is also very interesting to have a machine equipped with a hydraulic hammer pre-installation. The cooling capacity is then generally increased by the machine manufacturers. Moreover, this element simplifies the installation. Hydraulic internal vibrator VH-15 VH-15 Internal Hydraulic Vibrator Installation. Groups are installed on a beam where 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 or 8 vibrators can be set, allowing at the same time an independent oscillatory movement for every single vibrator, which may spare an eventual breaking of the structure due to bumps or to unwanted drivings; protected with the double cushioning that exists between the vibrator and the machine. This system is provided with a double cardan and offers a harder resistance to bumps. The vibrators disposal will depend on the quantity as well as the work to be done. Optionally, there is the possibility of installing a turning system (registered), which enables a +/-90º turning of the whole set of vibrators, at a speed of half a turn in 2 seconds, offering complete manoeuvrability. Tunnels or remote places can be reached, reducing movements of the machine and improving considerably the efficiency of the vibrated concrete. The operator in the cab easily controls this turning. The distance between vibrators is determined depending on the reology of the concrete, just in the same way that the number of vibrators is adjusted to the production of concrete required. The standard version provides vibrators at a distance of 800 mm. between each other. Optionally, there is the possibility of fitting the machine with a system which allows regulating the distance between vibrators. A different version from the standard installation makes possible installing the vibrators in a bridge-crane or retro-machine, with rigid tube, for the vibrating of casts. Hydraulic internal vibrator VH-15 Hydraulic Circuit Description The hydraulic circuit design offers the possibility of adjusting the VH-15 vibrators frequency, through a flow regulator valve, compensated, that maintains a constant flow, independently from the pressure changes. The vibrator optimum working frequency is settled between 7500-7800 r.p.m. Oil is filtered in the pressure line, easily accessible and in a handy way for the microfilter change (10µm.). If the system is to be set on a shovel or bulldozers, the circuit can also be equipped with an extra pump and cooling-system. The whole system is perfectly furnished with flexible hose with a pressure margin, couplings with metalloplastic seal-rings and compact distributor block in treated aluminium. Hydraulic motor The hydraulic motor in the circuit, specially manufactured for this application, allows high speed and high pressure levels, fully appropriate for continuous works. Control instruments The whole hydraulic circuit is entirely checked through a control manometer in the cab, valves and pedals for control allowing a simple working for the whole system. Special devices URBAR can provide the system equipped with a special device for blocking which prevents the arm from accidentally dropping while in the paused position. On the other hand, it is also possible to provide separately a hydraulic device, very useful to make safely the necessary tests in a repair workshop. In this case, it is mandatory to achieve a serious revision in the machine for the pump, the hydraulic circuit, as well as the machine engine work in perfect conditions.
