The Hydroskop  TX50 is a professional instrument for the location of underground utilities. It is usually used with an amplifier which reveals minimum variations of sound at a distance and depth. It is equipped  with filters to block out background noise, such as machinery, traffic, wind, cable disturb etc… The pipe locating system is composed of a transmitter, which sends a signal to the pipes or  cables to be detected, a coil, and receiver.  A compact transmitter with internal antenna is included, along with the receiving coil and a receiver with analogue indicator and filters to locate cables and pipes
