He received his A.B. in chemistry and his M.D. degreesfrom the University of Pennsylvania, and his Ph.D. in pharmacology from the University of Southern CaliforniaSchool of Medicine. He is a recognized expert in environmental medicine, toxicology and pharmacology,who has devoted his professional activities to solvingclients’ problems in environmental medicine, toxicology,causation analysis, and risk communication. He hasauthored numerous publications that have been cited injudicial opinions.Donald E. Franklin, C.P.A., is the President of ICTM.He received his A.B. in accounting from Franklin andMarshall College. He has extensive professional consultingexperience, with emphasis in Information Technology,Business Development, and Indoor Environmental and AirQuality. Prior to joining ICTM, Mr. Franklin owned andoperated a design/build/maintain construction company. Barbara A. Gots, M.D., is the Executive Vice Presidentof Oversight of Medical Issues and Litigation for ICTM. Shereceived her B.A. and M.A. degrees from TempleUniversity. She received her M.D. degree from theUniversity of Southern California School of Medicine. Since1980, Dr. Gots has overseen the review and analysis ofthousands of medical claims: personal injury, workers’compensation, medical malpractice and environmentaldisease.Suellen W. Pirages, Ph.D., is the Vice President ofOperations for ICTM. She received a B.S. degree in physiology from the University of Georgia and a Ph.D. inbiology and environmental genetics from StanfordUniversity. Dr. Pirages has extensive experience in applyingtoxicological principles in analyses of public health andenvironmental issues.Nancy J. Layton, B.S.N., R.N., L.N.C.C., is a project manager at ICTM. She received a BSN from theUniversity of Iowa, and later obtained certification in legalnurse consulting. She has vast experience in medical services utilization and quality improvement, and medicalrecords review and analysis. She manages the legal nurseconsultant group at ICTM.Sue Ramakrishnan, B.S, M.S., is a project managerat ICTM. She received a B.S. degree from AugustanaCollege and earned a Masters of Science in MolecularBiology from Loyola University, Chicago.
