Heavy duty 2’’ x ¼’’ side rails and solid 1’’ gritted rungs are also available.CAGEIf a ladder cage is required the starting height will be between 7’ and 8’ as required by OSHA. The cage can be shipped at-tached to the ladder or loose as a kit. Exit method will be deter-mined by customer. RESIN SYSTEMThe standard resin system for ladders and cages is flame re-tardant polyester. A vinyl ester resin system is available upon request.COLORStandard ECI ladders feature OSHA safety yellow side rails, rungs, and cages. ECI’s ladders are fabri-cated in various lengths with a standard 18”rung width configura-tion with 12” rung spacing. Custom colors and custom designed ladders and cages can be fabricated upon request. Ladders can be shipped pre-assembled or as a kit for instal lation in the field.Materials of ConstructionECI’s fiberglass ladders and cage sys tems are constructed from pultruded shapes produced using a premium grade polyester resin system with flame retardant and ultraviolet (UV) inhibitor ad ditives. For extremely corrosive environ-ments an optional vinyl ester resin system is available. Side rails and cages are pigmented OSHA safety yellow.
