Monitor remotesite sensor and equipment status, receive alarmsand system status via email (and SMS) and viewhistorical performance profiles as well as actuateremote control all from within a Web browser.Site monitoring and asset management is moreimportant than ever and the IntelliLogger providesa new level of ease and simplicity for your criticalmonitoring applications. Able to perform multipletasks, the IntelliLogger is capable of monitoring asystem, recording critical parameters, generatinginformation graphically for Web pages, andsending alarm/data emails. The IntelliLogger, withfully-isolated inputs, is designed to interface tomost types of sensor and signal inputs forcomplete system flexibility. Added to this is thegraphical programming and logger setup via theNEW generation HyperWare-IITM software.Powerful, easy and flexible HyperWare-II createssimple to complex programs with conditional /intelligent logging and alarming strategies, datareporting schedules and full featured custom Webpage serving.Connect the sensors, program the IntelliLoggerwith HyperWare-II, connect a communication link(Ethernet, modem, RS-232, USB, RF modem, cellular CDMA/GPRS/GSM) and you are ready toview IntelliLogger-served data, system status andmore from pre-programmed Web pages or custompages specific to your application. Custom Webpages are viewed using GreenWater ä , a free Webbrowser from Logic Beach. An optional Model upgrade supports Modbus/TCPserver for interface to Automation Systems. Sampleinputs, calculated values, I/O states and remotecontrol as well as System Status can all be read.IntelliLogger ääääLOGIC BEACH Inc.LOGIC BEACH Inc.LOGIC BEACH Inc.LOGIC BEACH Inc. Custom pages are simply and quickly built todisplay data for your unique application.Alternatively, program the IntelliLogger to automaticallysend logged data to an FTP site via FTP (File TransferProtocol). Email messages and alarms can be sent tomultiple addresses (even SMS) with attached data orinstantaneous values, alarm and input status.DATA LOGGER SETUP WITH HYPERWARE-IIHyperWare-II (HW-II) builds on the market provenHyperWare software. Drag-n-drop icons from the icon toolbar, then interconnect them with your mouse to quicklybuild a data logging and alarming program. HyperWare-IIincludes a full spectrum of features includingCommunications, Programming, custom Web Pagedesign, Real-time data Viewing and Data Downloading.1. Communications: Initial setup and programmingbetween the client PC and the IntelliLogger is implementedvia USB, RS-232 (wired or wireless), 10Base-T Ethernet(wired or wireless) and/or via an optional telephone, landline or cellular modem.A communication dialog box allows for the creation andstorage of communication data for all available loggers.Communications setup is completed in the dialog box andis a simple matter of selecting the type of connection andentering the appropriate phone number, COM port or IPaddress for each logger once, then just select the desiredlogger and connect. In addition to the integrated USB, Ethernet and RS-232ports, Logic Beach offers a number of optionalcommunication solutions including cellular, RF spreadspectrum, wireless Ethernet bridges and 802.11bcommunication devices.2. Programming: An intuitive programming environmentallows for simple to complex program development viadrag-n-drop icons. Icons representing hardware inputchannels, processing (e.g. math, statistics, logic, setpoints, etc), and outputs (memory, LCD display, FTP datatransfers, alarms, Email, Web pages, etc.) are all availablefor quick configuration and integration into the program.Input Icons are “connected” to processing icons or outputicons in a logical manner representing data flow andprogramming needs. This network of Icons representsthe data logger’s instructions. When completed, theProgram is transferred to the data logger by simplydragging the Program Icon to the data logger graphic inthe Communications Screen. Simple and intuitive.Simulated Web page served by the IntelliLogger.Sample HyperWare-II program includes Web page andscheduled data FTP. Web Page Configuration: Custom Web pages aregraphically configured for a multitude of data displayformats providing a unique custom presentation for eachlocation monitored. A graphical Web page editing screenis available to design your custom Web page soknowledge of HTML programming is not required. Thereare 22 user-configurable objects available for use in thecreation of custom Web pages. Drag-n-drop each objectand double-click to change the object’s scaling, colors, fonts, background, pointers and more.5. Real-time Viewing: Through HyperWare-II, currentvalues and input states can be viewed in the same manneras a custom Web page. Objects are placed on the screenand assigned an input or function to monitor. There are 22object available for use in creating your unique real-timedata display. Angular gauges, digital displays, pumps, tanks, pipes, indicators, bar graphs and text are combinedto present values or indicate change or movement. A fullycustomizable plotter is also provided for following trends.4. Data Download: Downloading data from theIntelliLogger is possible via a number of methods. Selectfrom commonly supported formats, CSV, tab and spacedelimited, and HW-II raw data for downloads. HW-IIincludes filtering capabilities allowing users to specify datatype, time and date to download only required records for aspecified time period. Downloading data using HyperWare-II takes place in the Communication Screen and isaccomplished by simply dragging the Memory Icon from theIntelliLogger graphic to the PC graphic.Data retrieval methods include:- HyperWare-II: User-initiated download using HW-II.Allows for data filtering.- Web Page: The Logged Data Listing Web page servedby IntelliLogger details all recorded sessions availablefor download. Download to browser in HTML or Textformat. Allows for data filtering.- Email: Logger initiated Emails with attached selectivedata, alarm values and most recent values. Select fromCSV, tab, space-separated or raw data files. Requiresnetwork connection via Ethernet, dial-up modem toInternet Service Provider, or cellular modemconnection to Internet Service Provider.- FTP file transfer: Logger initiated autonomous action.Uses File Transfer Protocol to send data to PC runningan FTP file server. Provides for downloading of all dataor selective data, alarm values and most recent values.Select from CSV, tab or space-separated or raw datafiles.
