IPSW 2013 6th International Passive Sampling Workshop and Symposium Bordeaux, France 19th-22nd June 2013 ORGANIZED BY: SECRETARIAT/CONTACT US: www.ipsw.eu/2013/ Maylis: ipsw2013@mail.epoc.u-bordeaux1.fr Romana: Romana.Kurkova@ehss.eu Renata: Renata: Renata.Siederova@ehss.eu In kind cooperation with: The 6th International Passive Sampling Workshop will focus on the development and the use of in situ passive samplers for environmental monitoring, ecological risk assessment, etc. Since latest meetings, main hot (but not definite) topics are focused on: • Theoretical concepts and modeling • Development of novel devices • Calibrations of passive samplers especially with emerging contaminants • Data evaluation/analysis, interpretation • Applications for regulatory monitoring and compliance with policies, • Pairing passive sampler extracts with bioassays for identification of unknown pollutants or in situ toxicity evaluation REGISTRATION & FEES LOCAL committee LOCATION The 6th IPSW workshop will take place in the newly renovated old church directly on the University campus (at 10 minutes from downtown) VENUE By plane Less than a hour flight from Paris connection from major European airports.
