We often know (or suspect) that we have data quality issues, but the evidence for this is usually anecdotal. It is difficult to quantify exactly how good or bad data quality actually is. And it is very difficult to manage what we cannot measure.The business case for data metrics is simple. Web forms are provided both for configuring queries and other metadata, and for displaying, charting and analyzing results.
