iSortVu is sorting system capable of identifying, inspecting, and sorting mixed and used items automatically, based on their types and models, accurately and swiftly. This vision based sorting system works using proprietary algorithms which give it a unique capability for identifying and analyzing hundreds of patterns including geometries, texts and labels, colors, bar codes, and special features in a fracture of second. This is well beyond the processing capability of any current commercial smart vision systems available in the market. For instance, for sorting used laser printer cartridges application, the system cleans, inspects, and sorts cartridges. The equipment can sort over 200 cartridge models from HP, Brother, Lexmark, Samsung, Dell, Cannon, and many more. The cartridges can be sorted by their model and any damaged ones will be automatically rejected to scrap bins.
