Jash Engineering Limited is a leading member of the Jash Group which was founded by Mr. Jashbhai Patel in the year 1948. Over time it has evolved into a specialized manufacturer of varied equipment used in water / waste water / sea water conveyance, pumping and treatment with over 60% of its revenue coming from supplying equipment to projects worldwide. The process of evolution from 1948 to 2021 is explained below

1948 Establishment of the business by Mr. Jashbhai Patel, a Mechanical Engineer in the town of Dewas located 35 kms from Indore. Initial products were machine tools like lathes, drilling and slotting machines.
1954 Shifting of manufacturing plant to the city of Indore.
1955 Commenced manufacturing of water control gates.
1956 Commenced manufacturing of precision surface equipment.
1958 Commenced manufacturing of bed plates / T-slotted plates.
1964-1972 Consolidation to become leading manufacturer in all the product groups.
1972 Formation of Jash Engineering Private Limited as a separate company located at Sanwer Road industrial area with a view to focus on water control gates business & bed plates business.
1972-1988 Expansion of facilities & consolidation to become the No.1 manufacturer in India for water control gates with over 70% market share and for Bed plates as well with over 80% market share.
1996 Converted into a closely held Public Limited Company under name Jash Engineering Limited. Entered into a Technical & Financial Collaboration with Schuette group, Germany. 20% equity given to Mr. Axel Schuette, who joined the board as a director.
1997 Expansion of facilities at Unit 1 and addition of new line of bulk solids handling valves in product range.
2000 Entered into Technical Collaboration with Hollung AS, Norway for the manufacture of Fine Step Screens. Jash became the first company to introduce fine screening equipment in India.
2002 Entered into Technical Collaboration with Hollung AS, Norway for manufacture of Coarse bar screens.
2005 Expansion of manufacturing facilities for screens and became the largest manufacturer of Fine screens in India.
2006 Establishment of a new facility at Unit 1 to manufacture bulk solids handling valves.
2008 Entered into a Technical Collaboration with Weco Armaturen , Germany to offer its range of valves in Asian markets and other markets..
2009 Acquisition of “Sureseal” to manufacture water hammer control valves.
2010 Establishment of a new plant of 50,000 sq feet built up area at the Special Economic Zone (SEZ), Pithampur, District – Dhar, MP. (Now called Unit 3 : SEZ Cast Products Plant.)
2011 Establishment of a new corporate office at Unit 1 designed to accommodate over 160 people in Marketing, Design, Purchase, Finance etc.
2011 Acquisition of Shivpad Engineers Private Limited, Chennai, leaders in manufacturing mechanical processing equipment like Clariflocculators, Digesters, Clarifiers, Aerators, Classifiers, Detritors etc, required in water and waste water treatment plants.
2011 Entered into technical collaboration with Rehart, Germany to manufacture Archimedes screw pumps and Hydro-power generators.
2012 Establishment of new plant ( Unit 2 : Fabricated Products Plant) comprising of 65,000 sq feet built up area for Stainless steel products and 85,000 sq feet for Carbon steel products.
2012 Pragati India Fund invests 5 million Dollars into Jash equity with a commitment to invest 4 million Dollars more, if required.
2012 Entered into technical collaboration with Mahr Maschinenbau GmbH, Austria for manufacturing of “MM2MM” Multi Raking Bar Screens, Travelling band screens, Perforated screens & screening conveying equipment.
2013 Entered into technical collaboration with Stealth International Inc., Canada for manufacturing Energy Dissipating Valves
2014 Acquisition of Mahr Maschinenbau GmbH, Austria
2016 Acquisition of Rodney Hunt brand from VAG.
2017 Company listed on National Stock Exchange (NSE), Mumbai. Acquisition of Rodney Hunt manufacturing facility at Orange Massachusetts, USA.
2018 Starting of Rodney Hunt manufacturing facility covering 60,000 sq feet at Orange, Massachusetts, USA.
2019 2019 Establishment of new plant (Unit 4 : SEZ Fabricated Products Plant.) of 50,000 sq feet built up area at Special Economic Zone (SEZ), Pithampur, District – Dhar, MP.
2020 Entered into technical collaboration with Invent Umwelt- & Verfahrenstechnik AG, Germany for manufacturing of Disc Filters.
2021 Expansion of manufacturing facility at SEZ 3 by addition of 25,000 sq feet built up area to machine, assemble and test cast gates.
