A memorymodel that includes 32 MB SDRAMand 16 MB Flash ensures there isplenty of storage space for alarms,events, live data, historicalarchives, and other files.Versatile communicationsWhile onboard 10/100 Ethernet is astandard feature, the CP-30 alsosupports a broad range ofintegrated communication optioncards, including GSM, PSTN,satellite, UHF radio, and more. TheCP-30 additionally provides a broadarray of communications protocols,which allows a Kingfisher RTU todrop into most any SCADA system.Advanced I/O functionalityThe CP-30 is compatible withKingfisher’s intelligent I/O modules,which provide advancedfunctionality such as high-speedscanning; sequence-of-events(SOE) monitoring at 1 ms; 10 kHzinput counting; pulse generation;and configurable, fail-safe outputsettings.Open programming environmentSemaphore’s Toolbox Plus+integrated operating environmentcombines configuration, programdevelopment, and maintenance inone simple-to-use package.Systems integrators and end usersalike can view, edit, and diagnosea Kingfisher RTU solution with ahighly intuitive, Outlook-style userinterface.Toolbox Plus+ eliminates the needto open — and switch between —multiple software packages, orengage in complicatedprogramming. Toolbox Plus+ embeds theISaGRAF IEC-61131-3-compliantenvironment and supports all fiveof the languages it offers. This isalso the first RTU application forIEC 61499. In addition, the Kingfisher library ofpreprogrammed function blocks,which includes operations such asAGA flow calculations, simplifiesapplications development andmakes it easy to add newcapabilities to a Kingfisher RTUsolution.Simple upgrade pathThe CP-30 allows upgrading ofexisting Kingfisher Series IIinstallations with the latestprocessing and software technology.The Series II processor can simplybe unplugged and replaced with theCP-30.
