KLINGER Monolith - Model KHO - Ball Valves - Brochure

The body of the KLINGER KHO Monolith ball valve was stress-optimised by Klinger Fluid Control in cooperation with the Technical University of Vienna to resist highest tensile and pressure forces occuring in underground laid pipe-networks. The whole construction was done and optimised by using FEM-calculations. Thereby an ideal characteristics of forceflow (see illustration below) could be realised. The Monolith KHO ball valve even resists loads which are generated by bending torques and is therefore best suitable for long-time operation in underground-laid district heating networks.
