Introduction
It is of crucial importance to respond immediately if an offshore oil spill occurs. Oil recovery capacity is urgent in such a catastrophic event but not always immediately available. Alternative, less effective means are deployed to fight the spill with very limited recovery rates compared to the rigid sweeping arm as developed by Koseq.

For easy deployment, even during bad weather conditions, the rigid sweeping arms work in conjunction with dedicated handling cranes. These cranes are placed on existing pedestals that are integrated in the vessel.
