KSS acquired Eco-Tec, a Canada-based ion exchange company, in November of 2019 and subsequently rebranded from a decades-old membrane filtration provider (Koch Membrane Systems) to the complete solutions provider we are known as today. The core of Eco-Tec ion exchange technology relies on the proprietary Recoflo® fine-mesh resin, a unique and innovative resin bead that offers customers the ability to operate within a smaller footprint at higher operational efficiency. Our Eco-Tec team has expertise across acid purification, anodizing, amine purification, biogas and sour gas purification, and more.

RELCO^® is based in the Midwest region of the United States – the heartland of dairy and cheese. As an industry leader in evaporation, drying, cheesemaking equipment, and powder handling & packaging technologies, the acquisition of RELCO in November 2020 enhanced our capabilities and solutions offering in the food and dairy industries. RELCO also held a strong presence in Brazil, New Zealand, and the Netherlands, allowing KSS to connect with manufacturers around the world and provide integrated, complete process solutions through the combined power of evaporator, dryer, and membrane filtration technologies.
