The first weighing terminal DMA01 is manufactured and registered in Austria.

1984
Gassner Wiege und Messtechnik GmbH. is founded. Salzburg Commercial register entry under FN6094Ov.
Managing director is Hermann Gassner, who puts his individual enterprise into the newly founded Ltd.

1992
The Gassner Beteiligungs-GmbH. is founded. Salzburg Commercial register entry under FN345O4t . Managing directors: Hermann Gassner and Ing. Rolf Ziegler
This limited company was founded in order to give the most important company members shareholding possibilities.

1994
In the years 1993 and 1994, the second generation DMA 02 was developed and authorized according to the pan-European admission regulations for alphanumeric weighing terminals.

2002
Management By Out, three long-term Gassner employees and two „external“ partners take over the company. Mr. Gassner goes into well-earned retirement.

2004
Completion of the weighing terminal DMA03 baby and grant of a Europe-wide license.

Today, Gassner Wiege- und Messtechnik GmbH. supplies renowned companies in the whole of Europe and the bordering reform states with weighing components. Therefore, the company’s core competence has shifted more towards the construction of complex weighing and control systems for industrial application. Previous projects have included the construction of dosing machines, check scales, filling scales, static and in-motion weighing terminals for roadways and track scales as well as weighing and identification systems for the communal area.
