In January of 1926 – or over 90 years ago – Franz Xaver Kuhn founded the KUHN company. Today, KUHN GmbH has 155 employees with approximately 16,500 m² office and factory space and markets its products and services internationally. KUHN GmbH has developed into a successful manufacturer of wastewater treatment equipment while remaining a family-run enterprise throughout its history. Over 100 apprentices have completed vocational training with KUHN GmbH.

MACHINERY AND PLANT CONSTRUCTION

KUHN GmbH produces high-grade quality machinery for the inlet group of wastewater treatment equipment such as screens, washing presses and grit washers.
With over 40 years in the business, we are the largest and most experienced supplier of Archimedean screw pumps.
KUHN machinery and equipment has been installed in Europe, Asia, North and South America, Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

PRIZES AND AWARDS
In recent years KUHN has been awarded two notable awards by the Rhine-Neckar metro region and the Baden-Württemberg Ministry for the Environment. KUHN earned a commendation for innovative parallel applications for heat and energy recovery from wastewater using a hybrid Archimedean screw pump with water heat recovery.
