Enabling us to offer you the ideal solution for every reinforcement problem. 3 Levelling courseIn order to even out any irregularities in the base layer, the ECOGRID® system can be laid over an approximately 2 cm thick layer of chippings (approx. 0,02 m3/m2). 4 Base layerIn order to ensure optimum surface drainage, broken stone (5/32 mm) should be used for the base layer. Layer depth is to be selected according to the expected load (car or truck) as per current road and path construction regulations.ECOGRID® can be laid quickly and without any expertise. Nevertheless a suitable sub-structure is vital to ensuring long-lasting ground reinforcement capable of withstanding high loads and offering a long service life. Other laying options exist in addition to the solution presented here. When laying, the connectors (36 pces/m²) interlock securely. This creates one uninterrupted surface.
