The recycled and durable tiles made of pure polyethylene are also absolutely environmentally neutral. With an area of 1.33 m² per module and a low net weight, laying couldn’t be easier. If necessary, several thousand square metres of ground reinforcement can be laid in just one day. As soon as the patented connection system clicks into place, a single uninterrupted flat surface is created – piece by piece. The load spreading design reliably prevents the edges of individual tiles from protruding and prevents hollows or even subsidence from occurring. You decide how you want to use ECOGRID® – the possibilities are practically endless. Whether for equestrian sports or golf, in garden design, landscaping or road construction, for roof gardens and, most recently, even for military purposes. You’ll find a use for ECOGRID® almost anywhere. Thanks to its excellent ground-reinforcing properties, e.g., in the case of field hospitals and tented cities in crisis areas, ECOGRID® has even been awarded NATO certificationThanks to ECOGRID®, major events are now more fun for everyone – even when the heavens open Open air spaces turning into quagmires are now finally a thing of the past. The ECOGRID® cells allow excess water to drain away quickly and effectively prevent the sub-surface from softening and becoming muddy.Benefits Surface reinforcement with natural drainage Quick and easy to install: approx. 100 m²/ person and hour Lightweight: 5-11 kg/m² depending on type Low transport and handling costs Maximum load up to 350 t/m² depending on type Maximum axle load 20 t in compliance with DIN EN 1072 Certification under German TÜV quality system Weather, frost and UV-resistant Flexible, high tensile strength No soil compaction High rainwater infiltration Excellent area load distribution E L A S T I CSub-structure and fi llingAs varied as nature itself Environmentally-compatible and effi cient Regulation of moisture level Optimum area load distribution thanks to full-surface interlocking connection system, less sub-structure required Integrated expansion joints for high stability and a compact surface Up to 4x quicker to lay than concrete pavers (savings on labour costs) Proven to contain no substances harmful to soil organisms and ground water DIN 38412 No edging required Environmentally neutral polyethylene Vegetation cover: approx. 95% Optimum rainwater infi ltration/drainage Average run-off coeffi cient ~0,09 bis 0,15 ?m ... ECOGRID® offers you every opportunity to turn your dreams into reality. Once laid, ECOGRID® offers an incredible capacity for high loads combined with a harmonious appearance. It’s easy to create a natural impression with ECOGRID®.It blends perfectly with natural surroundings with the added bonus of high durability. We’ve also come up with a solution for those who can’t wait for their grass seeds to green in the ECOGRID® cells: ECOGREEN® – specially fi lled and pre-sown ECOGRID® ele-ments have been specially designed to provide you with in-stant lush “green” directly after laying using various different plants, yet offering the same degree of high load capacityNowadays, essential hydraulic measures are used – with the help of ECOGRID® – to restore straightened and dammed watercourses to their natural condition, reintegrating them harmoniously into the landscape. ECOGRID® also promotes the vital task of water regulation in areas where the risk of fl ooding needs to be reduced.1 FillingECOGRID® offers complete grass cover; a whole range of other fi lling options, however, are also possible. Using different materials such as sand, gravel, chippings or bark mulch, visually interesting designs can be created. For grass seeding we recommend sand-humus blends (for 5 cm high honeycombs approx. 0,05 m3/m2).2 ECOGRID®A range of ECOGRID® types are available for different appli-cations. Each type has been developed and optimised with a specifi c application in mind. Enabling us to offer you the ideal solution for every reinforcement problem. 3 Levelling courseIn order to even out any irregularities in the base layer, the ECOGRID® system can be laid over an approximately 2 cm thick layer of chippings (approx. 0,02 m3/m2). 4 Base layerIn order to ensure optimum surface drainage, broken stone (5/32 mm) should be used for the base layer. Layer depth is to be selected according to the expected load (car or truck) as per current road and path construction regulations.ECOGRID® can be laid quickly and without any expertise. Nevertheless a suitable sub-structure is vital to ensuring long-lasting ground reinforcement capable of withstanding high loads and offering a long service life. Other laying options exist in addition to the solution presented here. Just give us a ring, we’ll be happy to advise you.E L A S T I CThe patented safety interlocking systemThe patented safety interlocking system (patent. no. 0576939) guarantees the secure connection of individual tiles. When laying, the connectors (36 pces/m²) interlock securely. This creates one uninterrupted surface. Thus, even in the case of extreme point loads, there is no danger of edges jutting out or surface deformation.Expertise for every applicationECOGRID® systems: Economical. Tough.
