The Lemer Pax patented suspended separation toilets are especially developped for the separation of urine and fecal matter in Iodine 131 treatment rooms and nuclear medicine departments. Radioactive urine is diverted to the decay tanks while non-radioactive fecal matter is evacuated into the sewer. Their rounded shape and non-porous surface are ideal for decontamination. The front edge is fitted with a drip-proof reverse contour. These suspended separation toilets are radioprotected (including around the syphon) enabling healthcare personnel to decontaminate the room in complete safety.
