The company was founded in 1952. We have grown since our founding in 1952 and are now represented by 15 subsidiaries and over 100 sales partners on every continent. Altogether we employ more than 1,100 people. 600 of those employees work at our headquarters in Leonberg, Germany. The city is where our name comes from: LEWA stands for "LEonberg WAter treatment."
