Our Story in Short

Luvata was founded over 100 years ago, when a copper ore deposit was discovered in Finland. Our name, Luvata, which means “to promise” in Finnish, embodies our commitment to excellence.

Since 1910, we have delivered our promises and supplied high-quality and highly specialized copper products that truly impact the society in many ways. Back in the days, our operations were known as part of Outokumpu, and in early 2000s during an acquisition, started the journey of Luvata that we know today.

Over the decades, we have grown into a globally recognized company, operating in six countries across four continents. Many companies now operating under the Luvata name have contributed a rich heritage in copper manufacturing, enhancing both our legacy and prospects for a successful future.
