DESCRIPTION The California Analytical Instruments Mark 3 Intelligent Sampling System is a third generation single board computer controlled industrial sequencer. The system has been developed over many years as higher specifications components have been added to the proven single board computers on the Mark 1 and Mark 2 Samplers. These have been in production for over 15 years. CAI specialize in custom building these systems and are able to modify and write special software to communicate and provide customer enhancements easily and quickly. Fully integrated systems complete with analyzer, cabinets, sample transport and conditioning are available for many applications. METHOD OF OPERATION The California Analytical Instruments Mark 3 Intelligent Sampler, when connected to a suitable gas analyzer(s) or point sensor(s) forms a multipoint area monitoring system which can monitor a wide area by sequentially drawing gas to the analyzer(s) and reading the concentration. The CAI unit has alarm and reporting software that has been developed over many years. The unit can take data from up to 6 analyzers/sensors via analog, comms Ethernet and many software drivers that have been written. The Mark 3 is supplied with a wall mount or optional 19” Rack mount for 4,8,12,16, valve switching.
