1991-2002
HOW IT ALL STARTED
Henk van Heumen, father of Mavitec`s CEO Maco van Heumen, started as Managing Director of Dupps Europe, located in Heerhugowaard, The Netherlands. The Dupps Company is specialized in equipment for Rendering, the processing of animal by-products. Picture: One of the first Super Cookers was imported and landed in the harbour of Amsterdam in 1993.

2002
FOUNDATION MAVITEC B.V.
Maco van Heumen and his companion Vincent took over the company and founded Mavitec. B.V. in 2002. As of today Maco is still owner and CEO.

2008
FOUNDATION MAVITEC GREEN ENERGY
With the rendering experience of shredders and presses Mavitec Green Energy was founded in 2008 to serve a new market: food waste. The first `shop return line` was a combination of a hammer mill with a shop return press and was used to depack food waste from supermarkets.

AUGUST, 2010
OWN PRODUCTION FACILITY
After an eight year partnership Mavitec acquired its own production facility in Turkey. At this moment over 120 people are employed in this production facility.

SEPTEMBER, 2016
INTRODUCTION PADDLE DEPACKER
In 2016 Mavitec Green Energy developed the Paddle Depacker: a high capacity solution to handle kerbside or source segregated organic waste.

MARCH, 2017
INTRODUCTION PADDLE DEPACKER MODEL S
After successful introduction of the Paddle Depacker a compact sized version was designed: the Paddle Depacker model S.

DECEMBER, 2018
PADDLE DEPACKER ROADSHOW
Introduction of a mobile rental unit in Europe. Mavitec developed a portable unit with a Paddle Depacker on a trailer to test material at customers` sites.

MARCH, 2019
NEW LOCATION HEADQUARTERS
Due to continuous growth and expansion Mavitec moved to a new location in Heerhugowaard, The Netherlands.

2021
60 PADDLE DEPACKERS INSTALLED
In 2021 the 60th installation food waste depackaging line was installed. Mavitec Green Energy also designed a stainless version of the Paddle Depacker.
