The SMR5000™ Radio Collector is a high powered long range device that receives signals from the MTU’s and forwards them to the head-end receiver. The collector stores and forwards the data collected from the MTU’s through a wireless system using a secured licensed radio frequency. The unique high power output (6 watts) is ideal for managing communications networks and extending transmission distances. The SMR5000™ can expand a localized radio network to a countrywide system due to the equipment’s extensive connectivity, modular design and smart programming. The SMR5000™ is expandable taking the system design today while preparing for the growth of the future with the ability to operate on either VHF or UHF channels simultaneously.
