Since 1992, SOCLEMA has been a partner to Europe's leading energy operators and suppliers, offering: equipment or complete sampling systems for natural gas analysis (natural gas infrastructures and renewable gas production ...) and liquids analysis (chemicals, petrochemicals, water treatment), as well as odorization systems for natural gas and biomethane.

SOCLEMA, as an expert in sampling solutions, designs, manufactures and installs the system best suited to each situation and technical constraint.
The components and materials integrated and sold by SOCLEMA in its systems have been selected for their high technical quality and from the world's most renowned manufacturers in the sampling field: GENIE sampling probes, OBRIEN sample transfer line, etc.

SOCLEMA offers a complete range of services to support any natural gas or liquid sampling project, from design to line maintenance on gas pipelines or all types of industrial gas and liquid processing or storage facilities. SOCLEMA is also a recognized partner working in collaboration with leading analyzer manufacturers, both in France and abroad.

SOCLEMA, a history for serving your needs

Founded in 1992 by Mr Claude BOHN, SOCLEMA was taken over in 2009 by Mr Olivier PERNOT, who in turn sold the company in January 2025 to Mr Samir ES-SABAHI.

Initially exclusively a distributor of GENIE sampling probes, the company has gradually extended its range of technical products dedicated to sampling to cover all the needs of its customers in the natural gas and liquids sectors .

In the late 2000s, SOCLEMA turned its attention to the design and manufacture of complete natural gas sampling systems for transmission, distribution and storage infrastructures.

The growth of renewable gases and the development of new production technologies, including methanization, pyrogasification, hydrothermal gasification and power-to-gas, have led SOCLEMA to position itself strongly in the biomethane market and to collaborate on pilot projects to develop specific solutions for these gases.

To support the development of the company and its activities, SOCLEMA moved into a new building in July 2020, with a large storage area, a spacious manufacturing workshop for mass production, a test laboratory, a large office area for future recruitment, a high-performance IT and audiovisual system, and premises adapted to welcoming its partners.

SOCLEMA, ON THE WAY TO SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Aware that every company, however small, has an impact on the environment, SOCLEMA is committed to sustainable development.

The new building designed by Mr. PERNOT is part of this sustainable development approach, with optimized energy performance thanks to insulation, the use of natural light, the recovery and use of rainwater for sanitary facilities, and the provision of an electric recharging point... All this in a business park offering a green environment where the Communauté de Commune has preserved natural spaces and ecological basins, and installed compost bins...

The second action concerns waste management. In order to reduce waste production, awareness of best practices has been raised: print only when necessary, use as scrap paper a sheet that has only been printed on one side... Without yet going paperless, SOCLEMA has set up an IT tool to store, organize and retrieve all the documents needed for day-to-day operations (quotations, invoices, technical documentation...). The company has also introduced selective sorting of paper, cardboard, glass and other workshop waste.

Finally, we apply this approach to the packaging products we use for our material shipments: reuse or recycling of cardboard, use of eco-responsible packaging, reduced use of plastic packaging...
