G. Bee GmbH committed itself to this policy since its establishment on 01.05.1909 by mechanic master Gottlob Bee.

One of the first products was a carburetor for stationary engines. The main client at that time has been the Kloeckner Humboldt Deutz AG. From 1941 on, stop valves have been manufactured of varying materials. KHD and MAGIRUS were the most well-known customers.

In 1950 the valve program was extended by special valves for the fire engine industry. It soon became clear that one type was missing within this valve program - the ball valve. Fifteen years later, in 1965, was the birth of the first Bee Ball Valves made of aluminum and brass. These valves have been developed continuously while considering market requirements. Meanwhile, there is a comprehensive program. This is complemented by customer-specific solutions, such as modified own products and merchandise. For our company it is more than a matter of course not only to maintain but constantly improve the quality standard. Certification to ISO 9001 in 1994 was therefore a logical consequence.

But this success is no reason to rest on our laurels. Optimizing the ball valves constantly, regarding materials and better seal materials and, at the same time reducing cost is nowadays not only a safeguarding of jobs but it is also the guarantee for developing our market position. Last but not least, however, the employees of G. Bee GmbH, due to the very small fluctuation, due to their high motivation and willingness to learn, are the cornerstone of this traditional company.

Our today`s business segments are based on 50% commodities (mainly brass ball valves) and 50% self manufactured products such as DIN-DVGW-approved flanged ball valves or sleeves made of spheroidal graphite cast iron, steel and stainless steel and self manufactured pneumatic actuators.

Problem solutions with special ball valves (high and low temperature applications, solutions for abrasive materials, metallic seal, zero dead leg / cavity fillers, multi port ball valves) will be the next main focus on the market.
