The Model 450B isconstructed of a black anodizedaluminum housing that acceptspurifier cartridges for specificapplications. Removal of foreignmatter is accomplished throughthe use of molecular sievematerials and special filters in replaceable cartridges. MathesonTri-Gas Model 450B accepts any one of the four cartridges forvarious applications. The inlet and outlet parts are located at thetop of the shell on the cylinder head. The purifier must be usedwith replaceable cartridges 451, 452, 453 or 454.
