Savings in master gas cylinders and automatic operation will provide a cost effective solution to large inventories of cylinders. The internal microprocessor offers different levels of access with code protected user levels to protect from unauthorized changes of internal parameters. The internal gas list is used to store various gases and user friendly software allows simple operation. Serial interface via RS 232 and TCP/IP allows the divider to be used with an external PC for programmed auto-matic operation. The Model 600 SGD may be ordered with an integral NOx efficiency tester to be incorporated in automated gas analysis systems. METHOD OF OPERATION The California Analytical Model 600 SGD Gas Divider is a sophisticated tool used to generate accurate calibration curves for gas analyzers. It utilizes a combination of critical flow orifices (nozzles), each with different calibrated flow rates. The pressures for both the master and dilute gas are controlled by precision regulators which provide a long term accuracy and stability of 0.4% of point. Local operation is simplified using the 1button alphanumeric keypad with data presented on a back lit LCD display. All local operations may be performed remotely via the RS-232 serial link or TCP/IP. The use of critical flow nozzles and pressure regulators eliminates the effect of output con-centration changes due to back pressure (analyzer) variation. Dividers based on capillary and mass flow technology cannot reach the ac-curacy and stability. Further assuring accuracy, each dilution step is factory calibrated and certi-fied individually. 1312 West Grove Avenue Orange, CA 92865-4134 Phone: 714-974-5560 Fax: 714-921-2531 www.gasanalyzers.com SPECIFICATIONS DIVIDER METHOD: Critical Flow Orifices (Nozzles) with Precision Pressure Regulators DIVISION STEPS: 63 Steps at 1.587% increments (PGD-63) PRECISION: 0.4% of Output RESPONSE TIME: Approximately 20 Seconds SUPPLY PRESSURE: 37 to 60 PSI OUTLET BACK PRESSURE: Less than 5 PSI OUTLET FLOW: 5 Liters per Minute DISPLAY: Back Lit LCD, 9.5 X 5 Inches INTERFACE: RS232 V 24/TCP/IP, AK Protocol WARM-UP TIME: 1 Hour NOx GENERATOR: 30-100 ppm OR 300-1000 ppm NOx FITTINGS: 1/4 Inch Tube POWER REQUIREMENTS:115/230 (±10%) VAC 50/60 Hz; 160 Watts DIMENSIONS: 5¼ H × 19 W × 20 D (Inches) RELATIVE HUMIDITY: Less than 90% RH WEIGHT: 22 Pounds Specifications subject to change without notice.
