Model CCV Series - Oil Mist Separator Brochure

The oil mist separator series “UPF-CCV” was specially developed for the closed crankcase ventilation of internal combustion engines. The range of uses covers heavy-duty and off-highway engines from 50 KW to about 20 MW for use in combined heat and power plants, ships and all other fields of use of internal combustion engines. UT99 AG is the market leader in high-efficiency oil mist separators for gas engines over 600 KW used in combined heat and power plants and is a long-standing partner of well-known engine and plant manufacturers.  In internal combustion engines combustion gases – so-called blow-by gases – always escape between the piston rings and the cylinder liner into the crankcase. Without ventilation the blow-by gases would lead to an impermissible increase in pressure inside the crankcase. The unfiltered exhaust of the blow-by gases into the ambient air is not permissible for reasons of occupational health and safety.
