The application possibilities of the medium series shredders DR240 begin at the point where the light series shredders DR160 come to the end of their capacity. The separate drives actuate both shafts of those shredders, thus providing big power and ability to disintegrate big and heavy objects. They can process metal and plastic containers, metal chips produced by machining, cardboard and different kinds of loosen paper waste, paper pipes, bulk waste and municipal waste (car tyres, household appliances, refrigerators, carpets, mattresses, furniture), animal bodies, river deposits, cables, barrels containing liquid, pasty or solid materials, different kinds of wooden waste - tree trunks, limbs, wooden panels and packages, pallets and the like.
