Our office, located in Bethlehem, PA houses a complete Sales and Service support organization, and is dedicated to the highest levels of customer satisfaction. The 6,000 Ft² facilities provide for direct customer service and support with a fully equipped calibration and service laboratory.

Bronkhorst USA service capabilities include gas and liquid calibrations to support almost any existing installed Bronkhorst device in the U.S., even including clean room capabilities.

A short history of Bronkhorst®

Bronkhorst High-Tech BV was founded in Vorden, a town in the east of the Netherlands, in 1981. The enterprise was set up by Teus Bruggeman, Wybren Jouwsma and two co-founders who spent only a few years with the company. The company name derives indirectly from the nearby, picturesque little village of Bronkhorst, which claims to be the smallest city in the Netherlands.

Following this pioneering phase, the family company experienced dramatic growth, managed by Bruggeman as commercial director and Jouwsma as technical director. In 1983, the company, which at that time had ten employees, relocated from Vorden to Ruurlo. The success that the young enterprise had booked was recognised in 1987 with the award of the King William I plaque. By this time, the company staff had already grown to over 30 employees.

The international growth continued and Bronkhorst has since set up subsidiary branches in Europe, Asia and American to provide worldwide support for its sales and services. Today, in 2023, the company has 15 branches and a total of some 800 employees.

Under the leadership of board members Henk Tappel, Robert Tiessink, Fergus van Beek and Alex Vossebeld, Bronkhorst has been able to continue its family business culture that the founders created. Employees show consideration and appreciation for each other and are given plenty of opportunity to further develop their careers. As a business partner, the company aims to foster long-term relationships, in which close collaboration with clients, suppliers and expertise centres results in innovative, high-quality products and solutions for metering and controlling flow and pressure.

Quality

It goes without saying that we are personally responsible for delivering the highest quality regarding our products and service. Customer satisfaction, innovation and quality of product and service have been the cornerstones of our success.

In 1992 we were certified to ISO 9001 (International Standard for Quality Management) with ISO 14001 (International Standard for Environmental Management) following three years later. Throughout the years our ongoing commitment was rewarded by certification to the most recent Quality Management System, currently ISO 9001:2015. In 2010, our Bronkhorst Calibration Centre was awarded ISO 17025 by the Dutch Accreditation Council (RvA), guaranteeing the accuracy of every gas flow calibration performed by our calibration laboratory. Currently our calibration laboratory is ISO/IEC 17025 accredited.

Product range

With our extensive product range of gas and liquid flow meters and controllers we can offer both standard as well as customised solutions for various applications. Our measurement and control instruments are used worldwide in the healthcare industry, chemical laboratories, solar panel productions and many other fields of application.

The measuring range for our thermal mass flow meters/controllers can be selected between 0-0,7 ml_n/min and 0-11000 m³_n/h for gases and 0-100 mg/h up to 0-1 kg/h for liquids. Bronkhorst’s Coriolis Mass Flow Meters and Controllers for gases and liquids have a measurement capability between 0-5 g/h and 0-600 kg/h. Furthermore we offer pressure transducers and controllers with a minimum range of 0-100 mbar and a maximum range of 0-400 bar. The most recent development is a series of ultrasonic liquid flow meters for flow rates from 4-200 ml/min up to approx. 1500 ml/min.

We focus not only on low-flow technology, but also on continuity and sharing our valuable in-house expertise because we firmly believe that by sharing that knowledge we can provide even better solutions to more complex issues, by working closely together with our partners and customers.

In addition to our own Research & Development and Engineering department, we have formed alliances with universities, research laboratories and other partners around the world. Not only our products have to be of the highest quality, but our service as well. And that is why we are 24/7 available for our customers to solve their complex issues with our experience, expertise and our ever-growing knowledge in the field of low flow fluidics handling technology.
