Model Fig Series - Standpipes Brochure

Standpipes connect to underground fire hydrants to provide a supply of pressurised water. The standard inlet is 2 1/4` Female Round Thread but we can offer a bayonet hydrant connection or a female hydrant vee thread. The standard shaft length is 760mm and the outlet may be either single or double headed instantaneous. In order to prevent any water contaminating the water mains, standpipes can be supplied with a double check valve. Hydrant Keys are used to turn on the water supply and are available in aluminium or forged steel.
