The excellence of the quality is the main characteristic of GEMELS products and this is possible due to the accurate selection of raw materials, staff and partners.

GEMELS S.p.A. covers more than 12.500 m², between indoor and outdoor area.

In 1969, in the center of Trescore Balneario (Bergamo, less than 50 km from Milan), Mr. Angelo Facchinetti gave life to his “Officina Meccanica”. Then in the ‘90s the Company changed its name to GEMELS and the first ball valve GE2 model was realized.

The first shipment abroad, in 1997, highlighted the first step of the internationalization process.

In 2004 GEMELS bought two new buildings, next to the first one, to increase its production. From that moment on, GEMELS begins to cover an area of 10.000 m² and in 2010 the Company made the first investments in the Oil&Gas market, obtaining API 6D Certification two years later and starting to produce valves up to 42”.

In 2015, becoming always more aware of health and safety themes, GEMELS obtained ISO 18001 and OHSAS 14001 Certifications and the first machine for the automatic assembly of GE valves was introduced in 2017.

In 2018 GEMELS widened its product range by developing Quick Couplings. In 2020 the Company changed its business name from GEMELS s.r.l. to GEMELS S.p.A. and the first branch, Gemels North America Inc., based in Dayton (USA), was opened. In the USA there are offices and a warehouse, which supply all the American market.

During the last few years GEMELS has increasingly invested in the electric field with a dedicated division, has introduced in its range the hydraulic and electric rotary unions for the earthmoving and lifting market, enlarged buying a new building and obtained the DNV certification for marine field.
