These correspond to those with a double disc on the clutch side, so for the same diameter double the torque is achieved than for the series 5.0. The torque/inertia ratio is therefore improved. The outer covers and cores are made in thermowelded steel. The following table shows both the clutching and braking torques and the pressure of the different sizes of the series 5.5 clutch-brakes.
