1990

Establishment of the company

In 1990 Ing. Pokorný registered the FONTANA trademark, thus establishing our company.

1993

Change to the legal form of the company

This year the firm was transformed into a limited liability company - FONTANA R, s.r.o. This enables the firm to develop further.

1994

Construction of the first production hall

In the following year we built and completed the approval process for our first production hall in Rícany near Brno. The firm can now grow in its own premises.

1999

Construction of the first storage hall

The firm continues to grow and there is no longer enough space to store our products, so we expand our production complex by adding our first storage hall.

2003

We’re no longer small – construction of further halls

We present our firm at trade fairs abroad, supply equipment all over the world and need more premises. We build additional production and storage halls.

2009

Specialisation and know-how

The company continues to successfully develop, we expand our production complex to include other specialised operations: a passivation shop, welding shop and production hall no. III

The present day

Products for a clean future

Despite the difficult conditions in 2020 we finished to build storage halls no. III and IV and are currently working on new projects. Water still remains the life force for us all and the main focus of our work. Contact us.
