Model TBC5-1 - Tire Tread Band Cutter Brochure

The TBC5-1 Tread Band Cutter is designed to remove the long curved edges of passenger and light truck tire treads after the sidewalls have been removed and the tread has been cut at least once into a strip. Removing the curved edges allows tread bands to lay flat and be manipulated in ways that were previously impractical. The TBC5-1 creates a fixed width tread band at a high rate of speed with few moving parts. The band width is set by installing one of four interchangeable plates. The standard widths are 2.5 inches, 3.5 inches, 4.5 inches, and 5.5 inches. Specific widths can be fabricated to suit your needs.
