Due to the high spectral resolution of the uniSPEC2.2USB, precise qualitative and quantitative analysis results are obtained. Both raw materials (e.g. wood, cotton, food or stone) as well as industrial goods (plastics, foils, paper and convenience products) can be investigated. The short acquisition times in the range of milliseconds and the easy sample preparation of solid, pasty or liquid material allows a high daily sample throughput. The sample is placed directly onto the optical window of the probe head for data acquisition. A preparation of a KBr pellet sample (preparation standard in IR spectroscopy) is not necessary. In case a distance probe head is used, the sample must be mounted in the given distance to the optical window of the probe.
