Each module is mounted on a plastic pallet for easy handling and storage. ECOLOGICAL WATER TREATMENT SYSTEM The Ecological Water Treatment System has a high purification capacity. A 99.99 % elimination of Cryptosporidium, Guardia Lambda, E.coli and other bacteria, parasites and pathogens are accomplished. A high particle filtration is achieved and an excellent adsorption of ammonia, nitrate, nitrogen, hydrogen-sulphide, heavy metals, carbon-oxygen, oil-derivates, ethylene, ethane, n-butane, ethylene, oxygen, etc. During the ion-exchange process, heavy metals are reduced in the following order: NH4>K>Fe, Mn>Cs>Zn>Ba, Sr, Pb, Ca>Cu, Ag, Hg, Co>Al>Mg, Li>Ni>. No coagulation, no flocculation and no supplements are required in the above process. a) The sludge filter is equipped with manual purging allowing for long intervals between back washing of the JSP-filter. The sludge filter removes particles over 70 microns in the pre-filtration process. b) The purification process is accomplished simultaneously by reduction, adsorption, particle filtration and ion-exchange: Reduction The AQUALITETM greatly reduces Cryptosporidium, Guardia Lambda, E.coli and other bacteria, parasites and pathogens. Adsorption The AQUALITETM has an excellent adsorption of ammonia, nitrate, nitrogen, hydrogen-sulphide, heavy metals, carbon-oxygen, oil-derivates, ethylene, ethane, n-butane, ethylene, oxygen, etc. Particle Filtration The particle filtration results in less than 0.1 FTU. Ion-exchange During the ion-exchange process, heavy metals are reduced in the following order: NH4>K>Fe, Mn>Cs>Zn>Ba, Sr, Pb, Ca>Cu, Ag, Hg, Co>Al>Mg, Li>Ni>. c) Harmsco Hurricane filter housing in highest quality stainless steel (SIS 2343/AISI 316) with activated carbon filter cartridge for reduction of organic matter. This filter can be by-passed if not needed. STEEL FRAMES The frames are designed for rough conditions and manufactured in stainless steel (SIS 2333/AISI 304). ? Module 1: size 790 x 590 x 1230 mm (LxWxH) ? Module 2: size 790 x 590 x 1700 mm (LxWxH) PUMPING SYSTEM The pumping system is furnished with a centrifugal pump of type Pedrollo JSW 12M. Pump casing of cast iron, shaft by stainless steel and impeller by bronze. The maximum suction height is 9 m and maximum capacity 1.5 m3/h at 39 mwp (400 V, 3-phase, 50 Hz, 0,9 kW). ELECTRICAL SYSTEM SC50 is equipped with a central electrical panel with a start/stop control (400/230 Volt, 50 Hz). CONNECTION ACCESSORIES The unit is equipped with 1 x 20 m and 1 x 1.7 m spiral armored raw water suction hose (red) and 1 x 1.7 m spiral armored clean water hose (white). One separate strainer (100 micron) with a floating device. Raw water high pressure lay-flat hose 1 x 20 m (red 2”). Clean water high-pressure lay-flat hose 1 x 20 m (white 2”). Clean water high-pressure lay-flat hose 1 x 20 m (white 2”, Camlock SS). Back washing water high-pressure lay-flat hose 1 x 20 m (yellow 2”). All connections are of Camlock type in Aluminum except for outgoing water to reservoir where stainless steel quality is used. All connections and hoses in highest quality standard for transport of drinking water. MAINTENANCE It is recommended that the JSP-filter, containing the activated filter material AQUALITETM, is back washed once every 24h. The AQUALITETM requires regeneration in saturated salt water. The heavy metal content in the raw water regulates the frequency of regenerations.
