Foundation of the first plant of Nupi S.p.A. in Imola, close to Bologna, for the production of polyethylene pipes for water and gas under pressure.

1977

Nupi launches the trademark NIRON for plumbing installations.

1984

Nupi launches the trademark NIRON for plumbing installations.

1994

Geco System launches the ELOFIT fitting range for pipes under pressure.

1996

Nupi S.p.A. opens a new plant in Castel Guelfo (BO), close to Milan, for the production of pipes.

1997

Nupi begins the production of the SMARTFLEX system for the transport of dangerous fluids and fuels.

1998 - 2010

Nupi and Geco System successfully promote over 10 systems for the transport of water and gas under pressure and 3 new systems for the use of renewable energy (ELOSFERA range).

1999

The production of multilayer pipes for plumbing applications begins.

Oct 2008

Nupi S.p.A. and Geco System S.p.A merge to create Nupigeco S.p.A.

2010 - 2015

Nupigeco promotes 10 new product ranges.
