Although, Mycometer testing cannot distinguish between fungal genera, it can quickly and accurately determine the presence/absence of fungi, and effectiveness of remediation in about 30 minutes. the field portable method allows you to analyze high volume, more representative air samples with no overloading that could interfere with other types of analysis. Samples can be collected with traditional air sampling pumps in liqiuds or on filter media. A mandatory user certification course ensures that all persons are trained in accordance with the specified test method procedures.improve your performance with reliable data, exceed your customer expectations with results onsite in 30 minutes. Use air samples to assess current building conditions, differentiate contaminated areas, document that contamination is not migrating out of containment areas, and for post remediation verification assessment. Mycometer®-air allows the consultant to have the results while still being on site.MYCOMETER is the leading developer of user friendly, robust and rapid, on-site microbiology methods for the IAQ Industry over the last 10 years. applicationsInitial diagnostic assessment Rapid remediation clearance testingPre/Post HVAC cleaning documentation Healthy Building AssessmentsExpedite disaster response damage assessmentHealthcare ICRA documentationRoutine maintenance cleaning confirmation Rapid. Method corrects for ambient temperature effects on chemistry. ASHrAe Innovation Award recipientSPecIfIcITyMycometer-air provides unprecedented reliability over currents methods. Whereas, spore traps and culture plates data sets may have standard deviations of more than 50%, Mycometer-air is consistently less than 10%. improving data reliablility, means the data collected is more meaningful. the ability to collect robust data onsite means the professional can make the best decision possible in the least amount of time. The table shows the results of three experiments where four simultaneous samplings have been taken on two different locations. In one location both non-aggressive and aggressive sampling were performed. Very low relative standard deviations of 7.0%, 2.9% and 5.7% respectively demonstrate the robustness and repeatability of the method. In both experiments four pumps were used each with one filter.Sample # Bedroom: non-aggressive samplingBedroom: aggressive samplingMM meeting room1 493 2793 4002 513 2800 4103 540 2629 3734 457 2758 363Mean 501 2745 387Standard deviation 35 80 22relative standard deviation 7.0% 2.9% 5.7%WHy USe MycoMeTer®-AIr • On-site analysis. Determine the level of fungal contamination in air or on surfaces and in bulk material samples in less than an hour. • Repeatable and reliable method. robust chemistry is the basis of the method which has been scientifically tested and field proven. • Easily interpreted. the robust chemistry provides defined cut off values for clean/not clean and for normal or contaminated levels. • Cost Effective. cost comparable to standard lab analysis of tapelift or spore trap samples.oNe INSTrUMeNT – MULTI PUrPoSeNo other test equipment on the market today allows you to detect fungal and bacterial contamination on-site in less than an hour. the unique versatility makes this equipment very cost efficient.
