NOOS-e (Nuisance Odour Olfactometry System - electronic) is an electronic device for measuring the strength of odours, utilizing nonspecific detectors of gases and chemical compounds. Signals from the detectors are processed with the use of a special 3 algorithm producing results expressed in European odour units per cubic meter [ou /m ]. E The selection of detectors and calibration parameters is unique for each specific system. The concentration of particular gases may also be read, depending on the types of detector used.
