These versatile skimmers are placed within a wide range of industries and have been delivered worldwide to solve oil pollution problems. rod skimmer:The rod type skimmer is built from stainless steel and polypropylene. Mounted to the side of the tank, this skimmer has a floating polypropylene wier; allowing the buoyancy to be adjusted depending on the solution. The effective rod skimmer takes up less than 8 centimeters squared of surface area and is used in tanks where the liquid level varies by no more than 150 mm.pontoon skimmer:The pontoon skimmer is constructed of polypropylene and cpvc materials and is able to withstand high solution operating temperatures. At 300 mm long and 190 mm wide, this skimmer can be used in tanks where there are high fluctuations of liquid levels.
