Oil Spill ResponseIn the event of an oil spill incident in Cook Inlet, the Cook Inlet RCAC staff participates in theUnified Command, within the Incident Command System, bringing stakeholder voices to theprocess. We update stakeholder organizations directly and through their representatives on theCouncil with regular news releases, information posted on this web page, and via publicmeetings and news conferences. We also direct the public to additional information postedonline by the Unified Command (consisting of the Responsible Party and Federal and State OnScene Coordinators). Throughout the year, Cook Inlet RCAC staff participates in spill training exercises and drillscalled by the oil and gas producers or state agencies. To date in 2013, we have participated indrills for the following Cook Inlet producers and explorers: - Furie Operating Alaska (2) - Hilcorp Alaska - Conoco Phillips - NordAq Energy - Cook Inlet Energy - Buccaneer Energy - Cook Inlet Pipe Line - XTO Energy   1 / 1
