SMALL SAMPLE LAB VISCOMETER VISCOlab 3000 FOR TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED VISCOSITY MEASUREMENTS Cambridge Viscosity’s most advanced sensor and electronics give the new VISCOlab 3000 power to measure an exceptional range of fluids and viscosities with one lab instrument. Operating Principle The VISCOlab 3000 contains a piston-style electromagnetic sensor and RTD that provides continuous viscosity, temperature and temperature compensated viscosity (TCV) readings. Measurements can be made in any of twelve 20:1 viscosity ranges. Viscosity can be displayed in either centipoise or centistokes, temperature can be displayed in oC or oF. Integrated temperature control allows user defined measurements at any setting from slightly above ambient to 356oF (180oC) and from ambient to -40oC with optional cooling jacket. The sensor is easily field calibrated. Multiple operating ranges and product setups can be precalibrated. Data can be output to a PC, via the RS-232 serial port for tracking, storage or graphical display. The electronics allow the user to define temperature and viscosity display units, data averaging interval, density and much more.
