VISCOlab 4000 LABORATORY VISCOMETERFOR VISCOSITY MEASUREMENTS FROM 0.2 TO 10,000 CENTIPOISECorrelates with ASTM D445Cambridge Viscosity’s most advanced sensor and electronics give the new VISCOlab 4000 power to measure an exceptional range of fluids and viscosities with one lab instrument.SpecificationsOptionsOperating PrincipleThe VISCOlab 4000 contains a piston-style electro-magnetic sensor and RTD that provides continuous viscosity, temperature and temperature compensated viscosity (TCV) readings. Measurements can be made in any of twelve 20:1 viscosity ranges. Viscosity can be displayed in either centipoise or centistokes, temperature can be displayed in oC or oF.The optional liquid circulating jacket permits operation from -40oC to 110oC. Multiple operating ranges and product set-ups can be precalibrated.Data can be output to a PC, via the RS-232 serialport for tracking, storage or graphical display. The electronics allow the user to define temperature and viscosity display units, data averaging interval, density and much more.
