No more time wasted downloading andpost-processing massive amounts of unprocessed sampled data. For a close-up view of transient events, automatically log up to 51 user-selected parameters, acoustical and other, at time intervals as short as20 milliseconds. For attended measurements, ten customizable markers are available toannotate time history dataFor industrial hygiene measurements simultaneously measure twonoise doses with independent selection of parameters and noiseexposure in Pa2h.3For optimum digital communication, the Model 831 provides not onlya USB 2.0 peripheral full-speed port for communication with a PC,instrument control and downloading of data, but also a separateauxiliary connector for USB mass storage, cellular and dial-up modemsand communication with future devices. This feature permitsimplementation of advanced TCP/IP based digital communication;GPRS or Ethernet. For remote instrument control, data analysis, graphics and reportgeneration, utilizes our powerful DNA (Data, Navigation and Analysis)software. Less sophisticated, yet delightfully practical, is the fact that you reallycan operate it using one hand, left or right, and easily read the backlitdisplay, day or night. Plus, when used with a PC, the same USB cableused for instrument control and data download will provideinstrument power and recharge the batteries.A full line of accessories is available including software, sound levelcalibrators, outdoor microphones systems with electrostatic actuators, weatherproof enclosures for short and long-term monitoring and avariety of tripods and tilt-down poles.Email: info@pcenvironmental.co.uk Web: www.pcenvironmental.co.uk• Class 1 Precision Integrating Sound LevelMeter with real-time 1/3 Octave Filters, classified as group X for the emission of,and susceptibility to, radio frequencyfields.• 120 MB standard data memory. 2 GBoptional• High contrast 1/8th VGA LCD displaywith white LED backlight; sunlightreadable• Icon-driven graphic user interface• Soft rubber backlit keys• Large dynamic range• Time weightings: Slow, Fast, Impulse,• Integration and Peak Frequencyweightings: A, C, Z• 1/1 and 1/3 octave frequency analysisavailable• Voice message annotation available, whichincludes headset• Ln statistics (L0.01 through L99.99available)• 831 Utility software available for setup, control and high speed data downloadwith export to ExcelTM• Multi-tasking processor allows measuringwhile viewing data or transferring data• Data Secure Feature saves data topermanent memory every minute• AC/DC outputs to recorder• Long battery life; 12 hours continuousmeasurement• Multiple Language Support• Field-upgradable firmware: keepsinstrument current with the latestmeasurement features via ROM diskupgrades• Two-year limited warrantyAdditional Noise Solutions from‘PC Environmental’There exists a need to select aninstrument that will do just whatyou need it to do. The 812 and 820were designed with this in mind. For example, a consultant thatworks heavily in the industrialhygiene sector will greatly benefitfrom having the Model 812, ahand held data logging integrating sound level meter and a personalnoise dosimeter. The Model 820 is the perfect environmental noiseanalyzer, maintaining all of the features of the 812 but with addedmemory, modem capability, daily and exceedance histories. The 1/2" condenser microphones used with our Models 812 and 820 allowfor a wider dynamic range and greater level of accuracy. The Models812 and 820 meet the IEC and ANSI requirements for Type 1, PrecisionIntegrating Sound Level Meters.Fundamental to each of these instruments is an integrating sound levelmeter. Each features true RMS and dual Peak detectors that operatesimultaneously. Each has Slow, Fast, and Impulse detector rates. Eachhas A and C frequency weighting filters.4 Tel: +44 (0)1489 891853 Fax: +44 (0)1489 895488Communications & AC/DC OutputsAlso common to this family of meters is a serial digital interface forcommunication with a computer or direct connection to a printer. Eachmeter also features AC and DC outputs for transferring data to DAT orchart recorder during data acquisition. The analog output can beweighted (A or C) or un-weighted, independent of how the data isacquired and stored within the instrument.Dynamic RangeEach of these instruments has a unique 110dB dynamic range withoutthe need for range switching thus removing the problems of missedcritical data.MeasurementsMeasurements include instantaneous Sound Pressure Level, Lmin(rms), Lmax (rms), Lpeak and Unweighted Peak Levels, Ln (statistics),Leq, SEL, Time Weighted Average (TWA), and Taktmaximal 3 & 5. Allof these parameters are measured simultaneously making this familyvery flexible in an extremely wide variety of applications.Modem Capability (820)The 820 can be connected to a modem for remote data acquisition fromportable or permanent monitors. The modem control mode enables the820 to automatically dial out upon a high level event or a low memorycondition.5Email: info@pcenvironmental.co.uk Web: www.pcenvironmental.co.uk6 Tel: +44 (0)1489 891853 Fax: +44 (0)1489 895488Environmental Vibration Solutions from‘PC Environmental’The ultimate vibration measurement system from SYSCOMInstruments. Modular design, rugged packaging and 100%Swiss quality provide reliable performance in civilengineering environments. Efficient, reliable and easy-to-use – the RED BOX provides data you always can rely on.Optional features include:RED ALERT Remote Alerting / Remote ControlRED SAFE Up to 640 Mbyte Mass StorageDEEP RED Dynamic Range of 130dBThe RED BOX MR2002-CE from SYSCOM is a compact, modularvibration recorder, designed for diverse civil engineering applications. Itconsists of a recording unit and an external triaxial velocity or acceleration sensor inrugged and splash proof aluminium casings. The RED BOX is very easy to install and tooperate. Vibration measurements and monitoring tasks are carried out economically. For long-term vibration monitoring, its dual mode operation is an important asset:triggered events are recorded as time histories while at the same time the vibration levelfor the entire monitoring time is recorded as peak values for each user selectable interval(=background mode). The VIEW 2002 software provides comprehensive analysis and professional presentationof MR2002-CE data. VIEW 2002 is a powerful analysis tool specifically developed for theMR2002. VIEW 2002 includes analysis in time and frequency domain as well as specificanalysis according to different national codes such as DIN 4150/2 and US standards.A pleasure to measureTHE ULTIMATE TOOL FOR VIBRATIONRECORDING• Site Evaluation and Seismic Re-qualification(Buildings, Bridges, Towers etc.)• Construction Monitoring (Pile Driving,Compaction etc.)• Subsoil Characterization (NakamuraMethod)• Traffic Induced Vibrations Measurement(Railway, Highway and Subway)• Sensitive Equipment and IndustrialVibrations Measurement• Long-Term Monitoring of Buildings andInstallations• Monitoring of Blasting• (Tunnels, Demolition, Quarrying & Mining)DATA CAPTURE YOU TRUST• Data Analysis According to Various NationalCodes• Splash Proof and Rugged Aluminium Casing• Internal Battery Provides up to 3 DaysAutonomy• Alarm Functions• Remote Control• Remote Alarm• Remote Download• Mass Storage, optional up to 640 MB• Frequency Weighted Alarms• Dynamic Range: 96 dB, up to 130 dB withDEEP RED option• Frequency Range: 1 to 160 or 1 to 315 Hz• Vibration Velocity: 0.00007 to 115mm/s,0.0000028 to 4.526 in/s• Vibration Acceleration: 0.0001 to 10 g 7‘PC Environmental’Human Vibration Solutions from;Noise Monitoring andAcoustic Solutions from;Email: info@pcenvironmental.co.uk Web: www.pcenvironmental.co.ukUnits 1&2 Claylands Rd Ind.
