Furthermore it is able to pump also highly viscose media without problems. Meredos peristaltic pumps succeed in both and distinguish themselves by: • Simple operation using 5 function keys • Easy change of tubes • Graphical LCD-display with two lines • Display of pump capacity in ml/min • Clockwise/anticlockwise rotation • Variable driving speed 1:100 controlled by microprocessor • Calibration, timer operation, cyclic operation, start and stop • High precision, linearity and reproducibility > 0.3% • Option of external triggering • Temperature and current limitation for max. reliability even on continuous operation • High quality motors with almost noiseless transmission • 6 and 8 roller heads with low pulsation • Usable as dosing pump • Pump heads can be disassembled easily and turned by 90° • Duplication of flow rate by parallel operation of two channels • Stackable case Operation: A touch pad with 5 function keys and a display with 2 lines ensure a very simple but comfortable operation of all meredos peristaltic pumps. The display shows all relevant data and information that leads through operation. The calibration function allows exact setting of the pump capacity by either selecting the % pumping speed or targeting the flow quantity directly. In timer mode pump capacity, time of intervals (pause) and the number of cycles are given values. In cyclic operation the pump capacity has to be set and operation initiated manually. In both modes the start may also be initiated using a foot switch. All data are saved until modification. Pump capacities: The pump capacities shown in the particular tables apply to a pump head with 3 rollers. With 6 rollers the pump capacity is reduced by about 30% and pulsation diminished. With 8 rollers the pump capacity is reduced by about 40% and pulsation is at lowest level.
