They are produced from optically-clear USP Class VI polystyrene, and with the patented dish design incorporating a thin and perfectly flat bottom, they enable superior light transmission, one of the keys in promoting cell attachment and growth. The same superior optical properties permit easy imaging of the growing cells, equivalent to imaging through a coverslip.EcoCell™Dish, an innovative, environmentally-preferable design allows 20-35% reduction in the raw plastic material used during manufacturing without sacrificing the strength or superior quality of the dishes.Produced in ISO Class 5 cleanrooms, the Tissue Culture dishes are certified sterile (gamma irradiated), non-pyrogenic, non-cytotoxic, as well as DNase/RNase-free.For research use only.Tissue Culture High Performance EcoCell™Dishes, Surface-TREATEDTissue Culture EcoCell™Dishes, NON-TREATEDPhoenix Tissue Culture non-treated dishes are suitable for growing cells in suspension or when a decreased cell attachment is desired. Manufactured from the same USP Class VI virgin polystyrene as the surface-treated dishes, the non-treated dishes are gamma sterilized, certified non-cytotoxic and pyrogen-free.Available in the same sizes and styles as TREATED dishes; uniquely identified by the letters “GI” in their product number instead of “TC”, as designated for surface-treated dishes.For example: 004GI is for 100x25mm Tissue Culture NON-TREATED.
