PLµS 32™ DISTRIBUTED CONTROL SYSTEMThe DRS Consolidated Controls PLµS 32™ DistributedControl System provides a complete spectrum of functionsfor Class 1E and non 1E safety systems including loopcontrol, logic, analog and sequential control, and dataacquisition and management. DRS PLµS 32™ distributedcontrol systems have logged over a million hours of safetycritical plant operations above and beyond the 500,000,000hours logged by prior Consolidated Controls systems. Thehighly modular PLµS 32™ architecture provides solutionsranging from single plant subsystem control to completeBalance of Plant (BOP) applications.PLµS 32™ is based upon a fault-tolerant architecturefeaturing PERFORM Net™ that provides redundancy for alldata paths and a dedicated microprocessor for each controlloop.
