Training: 2.1 Any person assigned to perform PMI testing shall be trained by the QC Manager. Procedure: 3.1 After performing PMI examination on test subject, the part shall be permanently marked “PMI” with a suffix denoting unique serialization. Verification: 4.1 Acceptance standards for PMI shall include the nominal chemistry verification of the major alloying elements of the material grades as defined by ASTM. Acceptance criteria is as defined by ASTM. Nonconforming Parts: 5.1 Parts not meeting the requirements of section 4 shall be identified as nonconforming parts and will be brought to the attention of the QC Manager.
